Go Live with the Finacle Suite of Products

To ensure all New Core systems Go Live together and the impact to staff and the unitholders is minimal, the following strategy has been devised for Finacle & EMV Go Live

Finacle Model Office Phase
Several Finacle Offices will be set up across the branch and agency network from –April 19th 2022
KEY STEPS TO BRIDGE GAP
  • All IC/ Agency staff and supporting departments that use UTCID will participate
  • The model office phase will be rostered in groups lasting for a fixed time.
  • Each group will enter transactions stemming from the respective IC/Agency from the previous day
  • Practice gained in the Finacle Model office phase will make better for GO LIVE
Finacle Production Cutover

Finacle Production Cutover will take place after:

  • The model office phase is completed
  • The EMV project is completed
  • A successful Simulation takes place with all Model office participants and the EMV Project team

Model Office Phase Operations

Overview

The Model Office Phase Operations is an end-to-end use of the Finacle system over several weeks commencing April 19th, 2022, for ALL staff that use UTCID currently.

It is designed to ensure staff have an opportunity to spend a fixed term working on the Finacle Core and Uon systems.

Once the EMV Project is completed, ATM and Card processing will join the model office phase.

Structure

IC and Agents: Members of the Finacle Project Team will be deployed on location to support end users at the IC/Agency during the Model office phase.

Other departments: The other departments will adopt similar approaches. The aim is to ensure end users all obtain real time use of the Finacle system before cutover.

For Uon

Staff members with Uon accounts will be asked to participate

Locations

The Model Office phase is designed to simulate actual operations from your regular work location. Therefore, staff will remain at their ‘home’ office.

A number of critical departments will need to participate in the Model Office Phase. The core project team will be dispatched to the ICs and Agencies participating to support. Participating Departments will include:
