To make a repurchase from your Growth and Income Fund, you must now submit your request ahead of time. This means you will only need to come into the Investment Centre or Agency when it is time to collect your cheque. Repurchase requests can be made by calling 625-UNIT (8648), via our website at www.ttutc.com/repurchase, or logging on to your U-Online account. Be sure to walk with identification when collecting.   • Advise the Contact Centre Agent that you would like to make a repurchase from your GIF
  • The Agent will verify your identification details and confirm the specifics of the transaction
  • Your request will be processed and sent to the Investment Centre or Agency of your choice for collection

  • Log on to www.ttutc.com/repurchase
  • Complete the repurchase request process, ensuring that you enter the correct information
  • Your request will be processed and sent to the Investment Centre or Agency of your choice for collection
Via U-Online
  • Log into U-Online and select the “Requests” option, then choose “New Requests”
  • Select the “Repurchase from Fund” option
  • Enter the account number, the repurchase amount, and the Investment Centre or Agency where you wish to collect
  • Verify that the information is correct and click “Submit”
  • Your request will be processed and sent to the Investment Centre or Agency of your choice for collection

Once you make your repurchase request before 2:30 pm, your cheque will be available for collection on the next business day. Requests made after 2:30 pm will be available for collection within two (2) business days.

For example, if you submit a request on Monday at 10:00 am, you will be able to collect your cheque on Tuesday. However, if you submit a request on Monday at 4:00 pm, you will have to collect your cheque on Wednesday.

For faster access to funds, we recommend that customers sign up for our Automated Clearing House (ACH) facility.

To sign up for ACH

  • Visit any of our Investment Centres to obtain a registration form or download one here
  • Complete the form and submit it to the Investment Centre most convenient to you along with a copy of a recent bank statement and a copy of your ID
  • Your registration will be processed within one (1) business day, and you will then be able to call the Contact Centre to request the transfer of funds
  • Funds will be transferred directly to your bank account within two (2) business days

The GIF is intended for longer-term investing. For customers who find themselves needing same-day access to funds, we recommend our TT$ Income Fund (TTIF) option. This will also allow you to use your TTIF Visa Debit Card to access cash directly from our ATMs or make purchases at point-of-sale (POS) terminals.

If you do not have a TTIF, call our Contact Centre at 625- UNIT (8648) and one of our representatives will walk you through the process.

The limit for repurchase requests made via 625-UNIT, website repurchase request, or U-Online is TT$50,000. Requests for amounts in excess of TT$50,000 can be accommodated via our ACH facility or in-person at our Investment Centres.

No, the purchase of units/ sale process for the GIF remains the same. You can purchase units in the GIF over the counter at any Investment Centre or Agency via cheque, LINX, or cash.
