They say the race is not for the swift but for those who keep running. We are maintaining our stride towards transition and with each step, we are steadily building on our learnings and bolstering our preparedness for the next phase. On Saturday, July 30th we move to Simulation.
What is Simulation 3 about?
With ICs closed for weekend, we will use the opportunity to test systems again. On Saturday, July 30th, all users of Finacle will log on and run transactions as if it were a real workday using Finacle. This simulation will take place from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Why another simulation?
With the completion of Simulation 2, we gained insight into areas that required improvement and have been working assiduously to take corrective actions and address any gaps.
The goal is to:
- Ensure the system works and there are no issues when all staff using Finacle are fully engaged.
- Observe the behaviour of other systems when Finacle is on full load i.e., Internet, phones, Microsoft Teams, LAN, and WAN.
- Final comfort level check for all users of Finacle before the Go-Live date is set.
How will customers be affected?
- Customers will not be affected by this simulation as ICs are usually closed on Saturdays.
- Our U-online and ATM services will be available and the Contact Centre team on hand to support our customers.
