Taking Us Closer to Finacle Go-Live

Our Progress toward digital transformation is gathering pace. On Tuesday, July 19th, we take another step forward with a simulation that will be our most rigorous test to date.
What is the simulation about?
On July 19th, all Investment Centres will close at 12:00 noon for a four-hour simulation set to begin at 1:30 pm. During this simulation, all users of Finacle will run transactions from end to end to stress test the system. Project team members will disperse throughout the network to support the execution of this milestone.
What is the purpose of the simulation?
All IC staff and backend operations are required to complete transactions for Go-Live & Daily Operations.
The goal is to:
- Ensure the system works and that there are no issues when all staff using Finacle are fully engaged
- Observe the behaviour of other systems when Finacle is on full load, i.e., Internet, phones, Microsoft Teams, LAN and WAN
- Final comfort level check for all users of Finacle before Go-Live.
How will customers be affected?
There will be early closure of all ICs. However, our U-online, ATM, and Point-of-Sale services will be available, and the Contact Centre team will be on hand to support our customers.
What about non-participating departments?
Although ICs will be closed from 12:00 noon, it will be business as usual for all other departments not participating in the simulation.
