The Finacle Model Office is being created to offer our teams a simulated, end‐to‐
end experience in using the new Finacle suite of products. Our goal is to complete
a successful simulation of all aspects of the new system, including Uon and EMV
cards, and ease the uncertainty of the cutover from the old to the new system.
The Model Office starts on April 19th.
There will be groups set up across our ICs and Agency to allow all impacted
teams to work with the Finacle system. In addition, all team members who are
directly impacted by the Finacle system will have a chance to familiarize themselves
with the new system. If you currently use the AS400/UTCID system you will
participate in the Model Office.
Our goal is to provide an environment that simulates transactions on the Finacle
System in preparation for our external Go Live.
There will be no impact to our customers. While our team is working in the
simulated environment, our customers will continue to be served by the ICs and
Agencies using the UTCID/AS400 system.
No, it won’t. The Finacle Model Office is intended to simulate normal working
operations, so all activities will take place at accustomed locations. Support will
also be provided by the core project team comprising Sales & Service, Agents, ICT,
Finance, Operations, Risk and EMV as well as representatives from relevant
departments.
As work progresses in the Model Office, we will determine what resources we
need to strengthen our approach. Your feedback is a key part of the process and
will help to make the Go Live rollout a successful one
